Mulino San Giorgio

The original Cascina Molini San Giorgio was already present in the 17th century. It was redesigned by Giacomo Tazzini and is situated on the eastern border of the Park, near the Golf Club and the Ponte dei Bertoli. The Mulino (Mill) consists of two buildings with a square layout and a central tower, separated by the Roggia (Watercourse), with a large rustic courtyard providing access. The original structure of the complex, of bucolic, rurally-inspired taste, envisaged masonry pillars in ceppo del Lambro (a characteristic local stone) and wooden floors, which were later strengthened with metal supports.
