Ponte della Cavriga

Constructed in 1831-33 to a design by the architect Giacomo Tazzini, the bridge takes its name from the “capre” (goats: "cavre" in Lombard dialect) which habitually grazed under its shadow. Built in ceppo stone and a single span with an elliptical arch, the bridge has parapets in stone columns joined by an iron structure.
